If you want to dazzle your friends and family, ask them what a portmanteau is. I’ll give you a hint: It’s not a castle in Scotland or the name of a fancy dessert. It refers to a word that blends two other words or meanings. Such as “spork”, “mockumentary” and so on.

With that in mind, Steve Paxton is what you might call a Techie-Pastor-Practor. He has had three careers and loves to learn new things. He’s a “techie”, because he worked for Hewlitt-Packard for 23 years, a Pastor for 9 and ½ years and now is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

What do those careers have in common? Well, he’s either fixing things or helping people fix their problems. In this episode, he wants to help you overcome in a hurting world.

In this episode you will discover:

  • Thoughts, traumas and toxins – Look out!
  • God is preparing and providing
  • Above, down and inside out
  • How to use “quackery” in a sentence
  • There’s not a lot about retirement in the Bible

Here is something else you probably have never heard of: Quantum Spinal Mechanics. It’s abbreviated as QSM3, and the 3 stands for a 3-dimensional approach to chiropractic care.

Dr. Steve primarily utilizes this technique, which is a specific hands-on approach that gently restores spinal health without the use of drugs, surgery or forceful adjustments. He has a passion for helping people live their lives to the fullest, and loves seeing how those lives can change and hope can be restored through chiropractic care.

Quotes by B.J. Palmer, Developer of Chiropractic:

“Many of us take better care of our automobiles than we do our own bodies…yet the auto has replaceable parts.”

“There is no effect without a cause. Chiropractors adjust CAUSES. Others treat EFFECTS.”

“Knowledge is knowing a fact, wisdom is knowing what to do with that fact.”
